Guitar Pedal with Bokeh – Fuji XF10

Testing out my new Fuji XF10 point-and-shoot camera. It’s got an APS-C sized sensor in a tiny package. Plus you get most of Fuji’s touted film simulation profiles for JPEG processing.

Shot details: f/2.8 @ 1/320, ISO 400, 18.5mm focal length (28mm full-frame equivalent).

I really dig the Fuji XF10 overall. It’s well built, small, spartan, and has a nice feel to it. Image quality is on par with the Fuji XT100, which shares the same sensor. The big drawback of this camera, as many reviews point out, is the autofocus. It’s nearly useless except in AF-S mode. AF-C is a total clusterfuck, even in very good lighting conditions. But with some menu tweaking, AF-S is pretty solid, even in lower-light situations.  Check out this full review of the FujiFilm XF10 that I wrote.

The guitar pedal in the photo is the Third Rail dual overdrive made by Function f(x).
